I love Birthdays!

So as you all know my birthday was last week. Auntie Denise & cousin Kalli gave me a birthday goodie bag.

It was filled with things that I LOVE...let me show you...

What's Up with this Weather?

I miss the warmth of the sun. This cloudy thing is just making me feel blah.

I question the weather man these days.

Guess What? Today is my birthday!!!

I am officially 8 years old. A big boy.

Dad got me a cake and yup Mama got me that bday hat. You know her...anything to make me look...well she says cute.

Dad said "Oh Boy"

This is my bday present from her. It's a possum and if you squeeze it, it makes a sound like when a pretty girl walks by a bunch of construction workers. You know what I mean?

The hat is history but I absolutely love my new stuffed animal.

Sunday is the day to relax.

Many of you may think that I relax EVERY DAY, but Sundays are special cause I can relax and nap next to my Mama or Dad.

Today it was a chance for me to lean against Dad on the couch and take a snooze. Oh how I love to snooze. Mama says sometimes bubbles come out of my nose. I can't help it, that's just the way it is. Mama also says I keep my front paws tucked like a cat. NO I'm not a cat dog. Did I ever tell you about Buutaro da Fat Kat. Well that's another day's post. For now...I'm going to continue my snooze.

Mama said I'm a good boy.

Mama said I'm a good boy because I don't gnaw on all the electrical cords around the house. We're plugged in everywhere.

Hey hey...what's that doing there?

Mama said now I'm plugged in. 

Mama said now I'm fully charged. Jeez Mama I didn't deserve that.

Hotel for Dogs

The nice people at Netflix sent me the Hotel for Dogs DVD. I just loved that movie. I give it 5 arf arfs and 5 dog biscuits. Have you seen it? If not I highly recommend it. Make sure you have a bag of dog treats at your side. I even saw my ancestor the Mastiff in it. Whaaat? Hey just picture me a lot bigger and then pull my muzzle out.

Okay I heard that. The nerve. I may be little, but I can still roar and fart like the big boyz.

Hagen Daz and Me

I have a confession to make. I love Hagen Daz ice cream. They sell them in these cute little containers which make licking the sides all the more fun. I know I know it's fattening. But hey, all in moderation. Right? Right!

That was soooo good. Now for bed. Good night!

Connected to a far away relative in Japan!!

We pugs can be found in many countries, I found a relative in Japan. His name is Benbo. He is really a cutie pie just like me. And he is the reason that my Mama has been looking for this Judo-gi, which I may add Mama's brother Kei in Japan found and is sending over! I'm going to include below a short message in Japanese for Benbo as his Papa emailed me tonight.

べんぼくん、ぼくのブロッグを見ていただいてありがとう！日本に親戚（まあ、地はつながっていないけれど一様同じパッグだから遠い親戚だよね！）これからもよろしくね！

Isn't this just great to find friends/relatives in far away places? I'm just overwhelmed. Now hopefully Mama will take me to Japan one day. Heh-heh...but wait that means I would have to be crated and take some kind of medicine. On second thought, maybe just emailing/blogging with my relatives in Japan will have to suffice.

Isn't summer here yet? 

Dad usually goes camping a couple times during the summer months. Sometimes he brings me. Although I am a City dog at heart, I do love to jump in the lake and go for a little swim. And I DO MEAN a little swim. I have to always put on my life vest, just in case I poop out in the middle of my dog paddling.

Yup folks that's me.

Thankfully the edge of the lake is not that deep.

Swimming takes a lot of effort plus I lose my breath and I DON'T EVEN SMOKE.

I can even boogie board...well as long as it is static...not moving. Here I am with some of my girlfriends. Aren't they the cutest!!

I stayed in one spot almost all day today.

Have you ever done that? When Mama left this morning i was laying on top of Dad's pillow. When Dad came by this afternoon I was still there....snoring. When he came home from work, I was still there. Time sure flies when you nap all day.

My friend Hana has a blog too. I hope you all go visit it (Hana Barks see link on right side). Hana loves the outdoors. She loves hiking, camping, all that kind of stuff. Me? I love a good comfortable bed, nice smooth sheets and service. I love being at home.
