Hina Matsuri - Girl's Day

Happy Girl's Day Everyone!!!

Mama decorated the home with all her Girls Day dolls that she received from her girlfriend Mami-chan & my Auntie Michiko.

The boy doll above isn't as fancy as the girl.

Look at the many layers of kimono she is wearing! She must be hot.

This boy looks like he ate too many sakura manjyu.

She ate too much too. One more too many I think.

Mama wanted to dress me up in a kimono, but I refused.
So since it is a matsuri, I agreed to wear my Hapi coat (from Uncle Kei & Auntie Michiko)

Mama where's my Sakura Manjyu????

WHAAAT??? Mama you didn't go to Benkyodo to pick up any?

I'm going to bed. At least I can dream about eating some yummy Sakura Manjyu.

Good Night!

SNACK

I was thinking today what this world would be without SNACKS.

I mean really. I love snacks. All kinds too. Ice Cream, Scones, Cookies...
You name it I love it.

I have a unique way of just staring at the snack I want until Mama or Dad gives in and gives me a piece of snack.

I can stare and stare and stare....well you get the point.

What are you saying I'm manipulative?
Friends, I just know how to work it.

A lesson from moi: If you really want something just stare at it.
Oh it helps it you start drooling a bit too.

Happy Birthday to my Uncle Geary. Chu chu chu.

CHICK 'N' PUG

LOOK LOOK!!! Look what my cousin Kalli gave me and Mama today!!!
She even wrote us a note inside...

This book is just wonderful. All about this little chick who's searching for and he think he's found "Wonder Pug"

The illustrations are really really cute. And of course I just love that someone would create a book about us pugs.
LOVE IT!!!

Mama read the entire book for me, but I'm hoping that Kalli will come over and read it to me too.

Thank you Kalli (and Auntie Denise). Kisses to you both!

One last note...

There's always room for JELLO.

Good night!

Merry Xmas, Happy New Year & Gung Hey Fat Choy

I know I know it has been waaaay too long since I've had Mama transcribe my blog. We have been plenty busy since last December. Baachan (grandma) broke her hip (she's all well now) and Mama and Uncle Geary were taking turns staying with her at the hospital and later at the nursing home. Happy to say she has finally returned home and is whizzing around her apartment using her walker.

The weather was soooo nice last weekend, Mama and I took a walk at the reservoir near our home.

It felt good to pee on the green grass. Ahhhhh

I was going to do a number 2 (poo poo) then I came across this.

You mean I can't poo poo here? Mama always cleans up after me!!!

Oh BTW Mama got a new camera so she has no excuse now to start blogging away on my behalf.

Have a great weekend everyone!

OOOOohhh Sooo Sorry!!

It has been a while since I've had anything to say. Well what I really mean is Mama has been very very busy. Plus our camera went on the blinker too.

Oh I have to tell you all about my stay at the Hotel Kabuki. I thoroughly enjoyed trotting into the Hotel. The doorman said hello and he opened the door for me too. Special thanks to Auntie Naomi at the Hotel Kabuki for getting us the room.

The Nihonmachi Street Fair was a huge success and i got stay with Mama the entire time! I got to see my cousins Tubby and Bonanza too.Tubby was jumping all over the place and well Bonanza didn't say a word. We just looked at each other and said hey whatz up.

Here'a picture of Bonanza in his island harness and sunglasses. He's the king of the Buchanan Mall.

He's perched on the Ruth Azawa Fountain just watching all the peeps walk by. No expression what's so ever ^O^
Uncle Edgar said Bonanza is very stubborn. Dad said I'm stubborn too. OH and we don't do tricks.

My Uncle Will took photos of me working at the Street Fair. He somehow is able to get the right shot all the time.

He even got a shot of me in which I look KINDA like Yoda.

Some of Mama's friends on FaceBook said I should have held a cane. Don't know if the resemblance is a good thing or bad thing. Well all I have to say is that Yoda is a Jedi and so am I.

May the force be with you.

MY BAGS ARE PACKED I'M READY TO GO

Guess what guess what???
No Silly I didn't win the Lotto. Something even better.
I get to stay at the Hotel Kabuki this weekend. YUP

The Nihonmachi Street Fair is this weekend (Aug 14 & 15) in Jtown. Since Mama has to be there from the crack of dawn on Saturday and again early on Sunday, she decided to just stay in Jtown. Oh yeah Dad too.

Auntie Naomi at Hotel Kabuki said it was okay for me to stay too.

I've never stayed at a hotel before. So much to do....

First thing is first, gotta get my suitcase out.

Whaaaat did you think because I've never stayed at a hotel before that I didn't have any luggage? Jeez Louise.

Now what to pack.

This hat for sure. It may get cold at night.

Plus I can play with it if I get bored.

Okay Mama I'm ready to go!

What? Not tonight? Ohhhhhh.
More to come tomorrow!

Thanks Auntie Sandy for reading my blog. Kisses to Sasha.

Mama, Baachan, & Jiichan are Sick

Mama, Baachan & Jiichan have been sick. Mama didn't go to work on Friday and even today.
Baachan is feeling better, but Jiichan and Mama's voices are so crackly. I don't recognize Mama's voice!

Dad was a little sick too but he seems to have recovered quickly. Even Uncle Geary & Auntie Angel were a little sick.

I wish I could say I was the only healthy one....

Dad took me to my biweekly pedicure at my veterinarian's office.
I caught one of my hind leg claws on something there while they were prepping me.
I guess I pulled so hard the nail (claw) came off.

The nurses said I didn't even squeek!
I just sat there with my toe bleeding.

They bandaged me up and for now I have a club foot.

I don't mind it. I still can do stuff.

Like walk on it.

I even can balance still while taking a poo.

I get the bandage off probably tomorrow.

Mama and Dad have been giving me my antibiotics hidden in Harvati cheese.

THEY THINK I DON"T KNOW.
But I'm not only a brave boy, but I am a smart one too.

Stay healthy everyone!
PS: Hana I hope your leg heals up fast!!

Welcome to Teppei Boy!

Teppei is the name of our boy. Ok ok he is a pug, but to me and my husband he is our little boy. He's brought so much joy into our lives and continues to entertain us with his facial expressions that say so much. And that is why I have started this blog, to share with you Teppei's photos and what he's wanting to say.

I'm hoping to chronicle his life here so that you can see how much this little boy means to us.

Now without further a do...My Teppei Boy
