Merry Merry Xmas!

TODAY IS CHRISTMAS!!!

I got lots of presents from Santa and all my aunties, uncle & cousin today...

First I got the "Men in Black" Frank bobble head from Auntie Karen!!
It's a collectible Mama says. Aren't I a collectible too Mama?

Second Auntie Denise & Cousin Kalli game me some yummy snacks and a tree filled with little squirrels! Reminds me of a real squirrel that lived in Golden Gate Park named Charlie.

I smelled them first to see if they were real.

Mama they don't smell like Charlie!

I went ballistic and accidentally took off one of their hats.

And of course Mama and Dad thought it was funny to put on my head!

Auntie Angel & Uncle Geary gave me even more toys!
I like this one Auntie Angel. He makes crunch crunch crunch noises.

Mama and I re enacted Mary and Baby Jesus.
HEYYYYYY I am a good baby Jesus!!

The Horikiri & Lowe families want to wish you all a Merry Merry Xmas!

P.S. Baachan and Jiichan says メリークリスマス!
P.S.S. Mama said Santa & Rudolph forgot to drop off a sweater that Mama requested. Santa is going to come over again next week. This time in a UPS truck. Whatever that is.

Chillin' with Honu

The other day I was chillin' at home. Takin' my usual snooze.

Oh yeah I was chilln' with my pal Honu.

He was going to take me to the Big Island with him. But I think I kinda weighed him down.

Sorry Honu, maybe next time we can hop on a surf board and ride the waves over to paradise instead. For now let's just take a snooze here.

I'ma Big Bed Bug

Mama and Dad covered me up when they were changing the sheets over the weekend.
I got a glimpse of what it may feel like to be a bed bug.

All I can say is it's hard to breathe covered up like that.

Thank You Atta Ya Family!

Mama and I received a package from Hokkaido, Japan this weekend. It was from my Yomogi girlfriend's Mama, Sakuka-san. As you know, Yomogi Girl passed away back in July.

As a thank you to all Yomogi Girl's friends, her Mama sent these wonderful thank you gifts. It included a  postcard of Yomogi, a little pug pouch, a pug omamori (amulet) and to my surprise personalized postcards for moi!

Thank you thank you thank you Sakuka!! Mama and I will keep Yomogi-chan's memory alive in our hearts forever!

Chu Chu Chu from me, Teppei Boy!

さくかさんよもぎちゃんの思い出になるポーストカードやいろいろ送ってくださってありがとう!いつまでもいつまでもよもぎちゃんの事ママと僕のハートに大切にキープしときます。

Mama I'm Not a Pear

Mama copied one of her pug friends in Japan and made me look like an Asian Pear.
She put the netting on my head.

I didn't think it was funny. Can you tell?

Then she decided to wrap my head with a tenugui (Japanese hand towel).
Yes you can see the expression on my face.

Mama would you just let me be. Tanomu (please).
I think Mama is bored.
Auntie Pat please do something.

39th Annual Nihonmachi Street Fair

Well folks if you didn't make it out to the 39th Annual Nihonmachi Street Fair ya missed out on a fabulous weekend. Plus that also means you didn't get to see me in the Doggie Parade.
I was the Grand Marshall of the Doggie Parade which ended with the NSF's 1st Annual Fun & Furry Pooch Pageant.

Look at the wonderful float that the JCYC youth created for moi! Yup I didn't have to march down. Rode da float with Tubby by my side (he pictured here on the right) and Bonanza leading the parade in his King Kamehameha costume (picture to come!).

Over 42 doggies participated in this very first event at the Nihonmachi Street Fair. Chu Chu Chu kisses to Auntie Gail, Aunti Marie and Auntie Shirley.

Next year it's gonna be bigger!!! Woof Woof!!!

Welcome to Teppei Boy!

Teppei is the name of our boy. Ok ok he is a pug, but to me and my husband he is our little boy. He's brought so much joy into our lives and continues to entertain us with his facial expressions that say so much. And that is why I have started this blog, to share with you Teppei's photos and what he's wanting to say.

I'm hoping to chronicle his life here so that you can see how much this little boy means to us.

Now without further a do...My Teppei Boy
