Doggie World at the 39th Annual Nihonmachi Street Fair

Did you hear? The 39th Annual Nihonmachi Street Fair will have a Doggie World for all of us four legged family members!!

I'm personally asking all my doggie friends to tell their parents to bring them down to this great community event that celebrates all the Asian/Pacific communities in the Bay Area.
I'll be there with my posse Bonanza, Tubby, & Leo!

Doggie World will have animal experts on hand to answer any questions like "Do I need to brush Fido's teeth?" Arguello Pet Hospital is the main sponsor Woo Hoo! Also local animal rescue organization such as Rocket Dog will be there too. The SF Animal Care & Control will be there also!! Maybe you'll get to take home a new brother or sister??

Mama said that all of us four legged sons and daughters are a very special and that is why her, Aunties Gail, Marie, Shirley and Uncle Glenn (Nihonmachi Street Fair Doggie World Posse) have joined forces to put together da best Doggie World this city has ever seen.

For all you fashionistas don't forget to enter the 1st Annual Fun & Furry Pooch Contest and you can't miss the Doggie Parade cause yours truly will be the Grand Marshall.

You heard it here. I will lead the beautiful boys and girls down Post Street to the main Webster Street Stage area! Judges for the contest will include da famous THE ANGELA PANG of the AsianWeek Foundation/Asian Heritage Street Celebration.

Money raised at this year's Doggie World will be donated to the Hachiko Coaliton. They work very hard to raise funds and outreach for the many rescue groups in Japan that are working so hard to save the many animals/livestocks still left behind in the Fukushima 20KM No Entry zone. This area of Northern Japan was hit very hard from last year's major earthquake and tsunami. There is still so much to do and we can all help.

So mark your calendar for August 4 & 5. This is going to be the EVENT of the year!!!

Welcome to Teppei Boy!

Teppei is the name of our boy. Ok ok he is a pug, but to me and my husband he is our little boy. He's brought so much joy into our lives and continues to entertain us with his facial expressions that say so much. And that is why I have started this blog, to share with you Teppei's photos and what he's wanting to say.

I'm hoping to chronicle his life here so that you can see how much this little boy means to us.

Now without further a do...My Teppei Boy
