OOOOohhh Sooo Sorry!!

It has been a while since I've had anything to say. Well what I really mean is Mama has been very very busy. Plus our camera went on the blinker too.

Oh I have to tell you all about my stay at the Hotel Kabuki. I thoroughly enjoyed trotting into the Hotel. The doorman said hello and he opened the door for me too. Special thanks to Auntie Naomi at the Hotel Kabuki for getting us the room.

The Nihonmachi Street Fair was a huge success and i got stay with Mama the entire time! I got to see my cousins Tubby and Bonanza too.Tubby was jumping all over the place and well Bonanza didn't say a word. We just looked at each other and said hey whatz up.

Here'a picture of Bonanza in his island harness and sunglasses. He's the king of the Buchanan Mall.

He's perched on the Ruth Azawa Fountain just watching all the peeps walk by. No expression what's so ever ^O^
Uncle Edgar said Bonanza is very stubborn. Dad said I'm stubborn too. OH and we don't do tricks.

My Uncle Will took photos of me working at the Street Fair. He somehow is able to get the right shot all the time.

He even got a shot of me in which I look KINDA like Yoda.

Some of Mama's friends on FaceBook said I should have held a cane. Don't know if the resemblance is a good thing or bad thing. Well all I have to say is that Yoda is a Jedi and so am I.

May the force be with you.

MY BAGS ARE PACKED I'M READY TO GO

Guess what guess what???
No Silly I didn't win the Lotto. Something even better.
I get to stay at the Hotel Kabuki this weekend. YUP

The Nihonmachi Street Fair is this weekend (Aug 14 & 15) in Jtown. Since Mama has to be there from the crack of dawn on Saturday and again early on Sunday, she decided to just stay in Jtown. Oh yeah Dad too.

Auntie Naomi at Hotel Kabuki said it was okay for me to stay too.

I've never stayed at a hotel before. So much to do....

First thing is first, gotta get my suitcase out.

Whaaaat did you think because I've never stayed at a hotel before that I didn't have any luggage? Jeez Louise.

Now what to pack.

This hat for sure. It may get cold at night.

Plus I can play with it if I get bored.

Okay Mama I'm ready to go!

What? Not tonight? Ohhhhhh.
More to come tomorrow!

Thanks Auntie Sandy for reading my blog. Kisses to Sasha.

Mama, Baachan, & Jiichan are Sick

Mama, Baachan & Jiichan have been sick. Mama didn't go to work on Friday and even today.
Baachan is feeling better, but Jiichan and Mama's voices are so crackly. I don't recognize Mama's voice!

Dad was a little sick too but he seems to have recovered quickly. Even Uncle Geary & Auntie Angel were a little sick.

I wish I could say I was the only healthy one....

Dad took me to my biweekly pedicure at my veterinarian's office.
I caught one of my hind leg claws on something there while they were prepping me.
I guess I pulled so hard the nail (claw) came off.

The nurses said I didn't even squeek!
I just sat there with my toe bleeding.

They bandaged me up and for now I have a club foot.

I don't mind it. I still can do stuff.

Like walk on it.

I even can balance still while taking a poo.

I get the bandage off probably tomorrow.

Mama and Dad have been giving me my antibiotics hidden in Harvati cheese.

THEY THINK I DON"T KNOW.
But I'm not only a brave boy, but I am a smart one too.

Stay healthy everyone!
PS: Hana I hope your leg heals up fast!!

MY NOSE

As you all know I really don't have a snout like other doggies.

Some say my face is flat as a pancake.
Others will say I can put my face against a window and not have a gap between the window and my nose.
I won't name any names...

Because I have such a SPECIAL nose I have a hard time breathing...
well I run out of breath. Don't expect me to run a marathon, don't even
expect me to go for a jog. I'm a boy of leisure you know.

Back to my nose. I sneeze alot and bubbles form around my nose sometimes.

Look closely...can you see the bubbles?

Mama and Dad's eye glasses always has spots from me sneezing in their face.
They've learned to look the other way when I'm getting ready to sneeze.
BUT sometimes I get them anyway heh-heh.

My nose may not be the finest, but my Mama and Dad love me just the way that I am. Yes I am very lucky.

SUNDAY SUNDAY

Mama, Dad and I were kicking back today with Baachan reading the paper.

Lots of interesting articles in the paper. This week's Nichi Bei Weekly was devoted to "Multiracial"

Did I tell you my Dad is multiracial? Yup, he's the color of what we'll all be one day...
Brownish Tanish...something like that.

Dad is Chinese American, Native American Indian and Irish.
That makes me... Japanese American, Chinese American, Native American Indian, Irish AND PUG.
Wow, I wonder which box I would check on the Census.

Hey I hear you all snickering... I am what I am and that's all that I am.
Isn't that what Popeye said?

SOOOOO SLEEPY TODAY

Mama and I had a busy day Saturday. We were in Japantown since 11am til way past midnight.
She had to attend a meeting during the day and I got to spend time with my old Dada (Mama's brother Toshi) at his video store.
Funny that I always remember where the store is and where to go pee pee in the back parking area.

Later Mama took me to Auntie Diane's house (it was Auntie Jeanne's bday). So while they dined out, I stayed by myself.
Don't worry Auntie Diane I didn't touch anything and I didn't take home any of Rox's toys.

We didn't get home til close to 1am. I AM SOOOOOO TIRED.

Today was nappy day with Mama.

We laid around this afternoon after Mama came home from church.

I napped, we napped....

And yup I was snoring away.

Thank God for Sundays.

MAMA WANTS A BRAND NEW BAG

So the good people at Gucci has created a wonderful line of goodies and Mama is eyeing one of them.
If Santa is listening, this is what Mama would like....

Okay okay it's a bit much. She'll instead ask Santa for...

Dad are you looking at my blog? Remember I can't talk so I'm counting on you to call Santa.
I know I'm a good boy. I always look out for Mama.

Oh and gotta love Gucci for thinking of moi.

Welcome to Teppei Boy!

Teppei is the name of our boy. Ok ok he is a pug, but to me and my husband he is our little boy. He's brought so much joy into our lives and continues to entertain us with his facial expressions that say so much. And that is why I have started this blog, to share with you Teppei's photos and what he's wanting to say.

I'm hoping to chronicle his life here so that you can see how much this little boy means to us.

Now without further a do...My Teppei Boy
